FreeWheel selects Ma as CTO
Yuling Ma has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Comcast’s ad company FreeWheel. She will lead the development and operation of FreeWheel’s technology platform and network operations and the company’s global engineering team spanning the US, Europe, and China.

Ma previously served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and General Manager overseeing FreeWheel’s Beijing office. In this role, she oversaw an engineering team that achieved significant product development and innovation milestones, including the creation of a new marketplace technology and programmatic trading capabilities. Ma joined FreeWheel from JD.com, where she served as division head overseeing data products, platforms, and business development. She has also previously worked at a Chinese startup that provided big data solution to the government, Pegasus, MicroStrategy, and Verizon.

“I’m honoured to be part of the FreeWheel family and excited for what lies ahead,” Ma said. “Moving forward, I’ll be partnering with our teams globally to fuel the expansion of our technology solutions across the ecosystem so that FreeWheel can be the connective tissue between buyers and sellers, transforming how the industry works and where it’s headed.”

Spruyt takes charge of AI at Reprise
Reprise, IPG’s performance marketing agency, has announced the appointment of Vincent Spruyt as its Global Chief AI Officer. Reporting to Global CEO Dimitri Maex, he will lead the newly formed artificial intelligence (AI) group as well as the agency’s established team of analytics experts.

Spruyt, a previous recipient of the MIT Technology Review ‘35 Innovators Under 35’ award, served as Chief Innovation Officer at Sentiance prior to joining Reprise. He is also frequently a guest professor at the IDLab AI research centre, which was co-founded by international research and development organisation, IMEC, and the University of Antwerp, Belgium.

“What attracted me to Reprise is its genuine focus on making a positive impact, which is evidenced by the groundbreaking Media Responsibility Index work it leads for Mediabrands,” Spruyt commented. “I am passionate about human-centric AI, which is underpinned by the same ideology – build intelligent systems that continuously learn from human input and guard fundamental rights like equality, fairness and privacy. In my new role I am excited for the opportunity to drive innovation and differentiation, as well as optimize, automate and improve existing processes on a global scale.”

IPG Mediabrands makes pair of global appointments
Rahel Rasu and Fiona Johnston have been named as Global Chief Communications Officer and Global Chief Growth Officer at IPG Mediabrands respectively.

Rasu, reporting directly to Global CEO Daryl Lee, will drive internal and external communications strategy for the global media agency network, with responsibility over corporate brand and reputation management, thought leadership, media relations, social media, analyst and influencer relations, employee communications, and corporate social responsibility.

She returns to IPG after a stint as Head of Global Communications at DDB Worldwide. Prior to that, she was as SVP of Global Communications at IPG’s McCann Worldgroup and, earlier, worked in research at Ad Age’s DataCenter.

“It is exciting to have Rahel onboard to help us raise our voice as a global media network with a strong perspective on the world. Rahel understands the power of culture and believes in communications that support our people, our clients, our brands and our values,” said Lee. “Her partnership across the organization will be invaluable as we continue to share our vision for a tech-supported but humanity-centered media future.”

Johnston’s promotion to Global CGO will see her support growth in both Global and EMEA markets, with an eye on delivering market advantage to clients, while also leading on group coordination between Mediabrands and its parent, IPG.

Johnston was previously CEO of Mediabrands subsidiary UM Australia, a role she held from October 2017. During her time at UM Australia, she led the agency to account wins including the Australian Government, David Jones, Menulog, Mattel, and Nestle.

“I am sad to be leaving Coady [Mark Coad] and the team at such an exciting time for UM in Australia. It really is the best bunch of strong, amazing humans and I’m so proud to have been a part of our shared success,” said Johnston.

Ferru gets SVP gig at Here
Location data platform Here Technologies has hired Gino Ferru as Senior Vice President and EMEAR General Manager. He will be responsible for identifying opportunities for customers, partners and developers, across industries, and will leverage the power of location intelligence to solve business problems. He replaces Fred Hessabi, who has been promoted to Chief Customer Officer.

Ferru joins Here from The Netherlands’ Salesforce team, where he was Area Vice President since 2019. In that role, he was focused on strategic accounts and solution integrator partners for the CRM platform giant in many industries including transportation & logistics and technology. Before Salesforce, Ferru worked at C3.ai and SAP.

“I am very pleased to welcome Gino to our team leading the EMEAR region. Gino brings with him a wealth of Software- and Platform-as-a-Service sales expertise that he will use to enable customers to access advanced digital mapping technology and create innovative, location-driven applications,” said Hessabi.

Zefr hands board seat to Argyilan
Kristi Argyilan has been appointed to the Board of Directors at video advertising platform Zefr.

Argyilan most recently joined Bed Bath & Beyond as SVP of Brand Innovation to lead the innovation arm of the BBBY brand team advancing key capabilities, developing new programmes and services to build customer loyalty, and creating new ways to leverage our brand marketing channels. Prior to BBBY, she spent time at Target, originally joining as SVP of Media and eventually being elevated to President of Roundel (previously Target Media Network).

“I’m thrilled to be joining Zefr’s board of directors,” said Argyilan. “For brand marketers, aligning with brand safe and brand suitable content has never been more important, or more challenging. Zefr’s contextual data solutions play a crucial role in solving these important issues, and I’m excited to support the company’s growth.”

Delaney takes up position at helm of Synthesio
Synthesio, an Ipsos social intelligence solution, has chosen Jim Delaney as its Chief Executive Officer. He will be the driving force behind Synthesios strategic focus on consumer insights and its mission to become the most trusted provider in the digital consumer intelligence market.

Delaney has held a number of leadership positions including Divisional President at Dun & Bradstreet, CEO of Sysomos, and CEO of Marketwired.

Babylon makes trio of C-suite hires
Paul-Henri Ferrand, Stacy Saal, and Steve Davis have filled the positions of Chief Business Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Technology Officer, respectively, at digital healthcare service provider Babylon Health.

Ferrand will oversee Babylon’s business development, sales, marketing, and customer success efforts. He is former President of Google Cloud, preceded by his time as Vice President of Google’s US Sales and Operations function. Before Google, he spent 10 years at Dell, as well as holding roles at Nokia and AT&T.

Saal will run Babylon’s operational initiatives. She joins from Amazon, where she led a number of complex and strategically important programmes resulting in the successful launch and expansion of Prime Now and Amazon Fresh, with her recent focus on Prime Air. Prior to Amazon, she served as VP of Operations at the Global Wine Company, CEO of Tom’s Cookies, and Director of Demand Planning at Levi Strauss.

Davis, who will lead Babylon’s AI technology and team of data scientists and engineers, joins from the Expedia Group, where he was Senior VP of AI and Data. Prior to the Expedia Group, Steve held a number of entrepreneurial roles including CIO, CDO and CTO in enterprise SaaS software and marketplaces. He also acted as one of the original executive team members that built HomeAway/VRBO.

Lee named first Wyze CFO
Wyze Labs, a startup producing smart home products, has recruited Francis Lee as its first-ever Chief Financial Officer. He will play an instrumental role in advancing Wyze as an emerging leader building and bringing smart living platform experiences to the masses.

Lee was an Executive at Nike, where he served in the corporate and operating unit financial assignments including Chief Financial Officer of Nike Japan and several VP roles leading global finance & strategy functions. Most recently, he was VP of Global Marketing Finance.

Audiencerate gets new boss
Filippo Gramigna has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Audiencerate, a data-driven ad platform. Previously a Strategic Advisor for Audiencerate, he will leverage his understanding of the business and over 20 years of leadership experience to fuel Audiencerate’s global market growth.

Gramigna was most recently Media Strategy and Activations Director, EMEA at Lenovo, where he oversaw the in-housing process of its media capabilities. He has also been VP of Global Sales at Widespace and VP of Global Commercial Partnerships at Adform.

Duo join IAB team
The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has announced that Carryl Pierre-Drews has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Jeff Murray as Vice President for Public Policy. Pierre-Drews will report directly to CEO David Cohen and Murray will report to Dave Grimaldi, Executive Vice President of Public Policy.

Pierre-Drews will be responsible for overseeing IAB’s marketing and communications organisation to ensure that IAB member companies understand the value of the organisation as a digital, marketing, and media industry thought leader and agenda-setter. Before IAB, Pierre-Drews was VP of Marketing at AT&T WarnerMedia’s Fullscreen, where she built and led the agency’s brand marketing, PR, digital/social channels, influencer engagement, and global industry activations. She has also been SVP of Strategic Marketing at USA Network.

“At IAB, Carryl will bring her passion for data-driven storytelling that connects brands with audiences,” said Cohen. “She has a track record of infusing innovation into the marketing function and building and managing exceptional teams, and I look forward to working with her as we bring new products, data, and thought leadership to our membership and the industry writ large.”

Murray will be responsible for advocating on behalf of IAB member companies before Congress and federal agencies, as well as for developing related policy, messaging, and strategy. Most recently, Murray was Senior Manager of Government Relations at Accenture, where he led Republican outreach to Congress and the Administration, counselling executives on anticipating and navigating political developments, crafting substance and strategy for healthcare and financial services technology initiatives, and aiding the company’s public sector team with business development. Before that, he served as a Counsel to the Georgia State Senate and as an Atalanta Attorney with BakerHostetler.

“IAB is an advocate for its members and promotes the benefits and value of the ad-supported internet,” said Grimaldi. “One of our top priorities is to help advance advocacy efforts to establish national privacy standards that empower both consumers and the businesses that serve them. We are confident Jeff will help create these opportunities for IAB, its member companies, and work with Congress to support a healthy digital advertising ecosystem.”

Given adds Roope to board
Nicolas Roope has joined the Board at creative brand agency Given as an Advisor and Non-exec Creative Leader. He has been hired to help foster the agency’s creative talent, ensure its creative offer is a driver for continued growth, and build its international reputation amongst marketing leaders.

Roope’s Board position will start on the 1 March under Non-executive Chair Jan Gooding, joining Co-founders, executive team members, and Non-exec Advisor Nigel Salter.

“Given pioneered brand purpose, long before it became an industry trend. It means, as well as having a ferocious commitment to driving positive change in organisations, they already have a long legacy of meaningful success stories under their belts,” said Roope. “They’re a highly effective team, but when I was asked by the board to further augment their impressive strategic and consulting capability, by enhancing their creative philosophy and approach, I jumped at the chance. Senior management reshuffle at Code
Digital product studio Code Computerlove has announced Rob Jones as joint Managing Director, alongside other senior level promotions, as Louis Georgiou takes a more active role at parent company MediaCom North and focuses on Code’s new consultancy services.

Jones, who has been with the agency for more than 13 years, was previously Client Services Director. He will now oversee the delivery of Code’s core products and services, while Georgiou focuses on the agency’s burgeoning agile coaching and organisational design and transformation division.

“To have the opportunity to work alongside Louis to lead Code into its next phase of growth is incredibly exciting and I look forward to delivering a refreshed focus on the development and delivery of digital products supported by such an exceptional team,” said Jones.

Velocix names Berkeley CEO
Anthony Berkeley has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer at video streaming company Velocix.

Berkeley was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Velocix, and he has previously held senior leadership roles in sales, product, and professional services during his 11-year tenure with the company. Prior to Velocix, he held senior positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia.

“I’m excited to lead the next phase of Velocix’s growth, which will be fuelled by our investment in new video streaming and advertising technologies that maximise performance and deliver the lowest cost of ownership to customers,” said Berkeley. “Using our latest hybrid-cloud software, Velocix can deploy on-net, in the cloud, or both, opening new business opportunities for us, and giving our customers the power and flexibility to scale out their platforms more efficiently than ever before.”

Larder to direct on client services at Avantgarde
Avantgarde London, a brand experience agency, has hired Victoria Larder as Client Services Director. She will be leading the client services team, managing relationships across all Avantgarde’s accounts, including Honda, Credit Suisse, and Bridgestone.

Larder arrives at Avantgarde from Pave London, where she was Managing Director, a role she held since 2014. She also previously worked for the likes of Brandfluent and Emap. Earlier in her career she spent time as a radio presenter on commercial radio stations across the UK.

“I really like that Avantgarde is an international agency at the forefront of innovation, creating compelling experiences for brands,” said Larder. “I’m excited to get involved in ‘story doing’ as we create hybrid experiences for clients. Blue Sky brings in Sally as EVP
Annette Sally has been named Executive Vice President at independent agency Blue Sky. She will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s client relations and new business development.

Sally joins Blue Sky from 22squared, where she was Executive Director of Client Services. In that role, she oversaw clients including The Home Depot, Publix, SunTrust, Baskin Robbins, and Southeast Toyota. She was previously EVP at Leo Burnett Worldwide, Arnold NYC, and Grey Group.

“I’m very excited to be joining an independent agency that consistently elevates client partners to new heights,” said Sally. “I’m especially thrilled to be working alongside Mariana Costa to grow client business to its greatest potential. Turner hired by Covatic
In-app experience company Covatic has turned to Accelerated Mission’s Paul Turner to help it further its go-to-market strategy. Turner’s consulting company, Accelerated Mission, will advise the startup as it creates the necessary foundations to scale rapidly.

Turner has previously been Head of International at Invite Media (acquired by Google), VP of Sales at Adaptly (acquired by Accenture), CCO at Adbrain (acquired by The Trade Desk), and CCO at Arbor (acquired by LiveRamp).

MediaVision welcomes new specialists
Holly Anderson and Zee Kazmi have joined MediaVision, a digital marketing agency, as Strategic Client Lead and SEO Executive respectively.

Anderson, who has been working for in-house eCommerce and marketing teams within fashion, beauty, and tech for over six years, will bring a strong knowledge across all platforms and an in-depth understanding of the creative side of retail, from introducing new marketing channels to producing digital marketing strategies.

“I aim to bring invaluable brand knowledge into the team which will help us to support each client’s individual needs through a multi-faceted approach,” said Anderson.

Kazmi, a Google Certified SEO, has been successfully driving SEO campaigns for popular Italian fashion and beauty retail outlets.

Hires and promotions at Fingerpaint
Health and wellness marketing agency Fingerpaint has hired Laura Yoars to lead account service in the company’s Cedar Knolls, New Jersey office, while Beth Beck has been promoted to lead its Saratoga Springs, New York office and Bill McEllen elevated to lead all of Fingerpaint’s advertising offices.

Yoars will lead and manage the account service team in first-in-class service to the agency’s clients. She joins from Manifest, where she was SVP of Client Services.

Beck, who becomes a member of the Fingerpaint Operating Board, has been with the agency for over a year, having previously held the role that Yoars now has.

McEllen will lead Fingerpaint’s offices in Saratoga Springs, New York; Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; Cedar Knolls, New Jersey; and Phoenix, Arizona. He joined Finger paint in 2016 as head of the Saratoga Springs office.

Merkle elevates Wagner and Komasinski to presidents
Margaret Wagner has been promoted to President EMEA, while Michael Komasinski has been named President Americas, at customer experience management company Merkle. The appointments will take effect 1 January 2021.

Wagner is being promoted to the dual role of President, Merkle EMEA and leader of the Dentsu CXM LoB in EMEA. As chief growth officer in EMEA for the past three years, she has been working side-by-side with Komasinski with a strong focus on gaining, growing, and solidifying client relationships. Prior to Merkle, Wagner was Chief Marketing Officer at Rapp and held executive positions at Wunderman.

“I am excited about the opportunity before me to lead Merkle EMEA, and to continue as part of a company that is reimagining the customer experience and what it means to provide value in an increasingly digital world,” said Wagner. “The future is one where data and relationships will play a central role, and I am eager to help Merkle realise opportunities as consumers and brands evolve.”

Komasinski is moving up into the dual role of President, Merkle Americas and leader of the Dentsu CXM LoB in the Americas. Over the past three years, he has been leading Merkles European business as President, Merkle EMEA and CXM LoB lead for Dentsu in EMEA. Before that, Komasinski ran Merkle’s US Digital Agency business and, prior to Merkle, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Razorfish and President at Schawk Retail Marketing.

“I am so proud of all that we have accomplished in EMEA over the past few years. This year, I have been especially inspired by our team and our ability to come together as a company and make great strides with our business,” said Komasinski. “Looking ahead, I am eager to take on my new role and return to the US to focus on the Americas region in the next development phase of our company.”

Nasard takes to helm at Kantar
Data and insights firm Kantar has chosen Alexis Nasard as its Chief Executive Officer, effective 30 December 2020.

Nasard joins Kantar with almost 30 years’ experience in the FMCG and retail world and is currently CEO of Bata. Prior to that, he spent six years at Heineken, culminating in the position of President of Western Europe Business and Global Chief Marketing Officer.  Earlier, he worked for 17 years with Procter & Gamble in a variety of marketing and general management roles.

“Throughout my career, Kantar has been a trusted advisor. Kantar’s data, insights and advice informed many of the strategies, as well as communication and commercial plans my teams and I led. As much as I understand Kantar’s heritage and reputation today, it is our future that excites me most,” said Nasard.

“The combination of Kantar’s deep understanding of consumers around the world, our proprietary data sets and our growing expertise in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence puts us in a leading position to reshape the insights and consulting market, whilst offering clients superior analytics they can monetise. This will be all the more relevant in the volatile and fluctuating environment we are living in as a consequence of the COVID-19 health and economic crisis, as clients need to operate on very steep learning curves.”

Instacart makes two executive additions in Hall and Bardin
Christina Hall and Ariel Bardin have joined online grocery delivery company Instacart as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Product, respectively.

Hall, who has more than 20 years of experience, will oversee the company’s human resources, recruiting, and diversity, equity and inclusion functions. She will help support the companys teams across North America with a focus on building a holistic people and talent strategy designed to attract, retain and develop employees. Hall most recently served as Chief People Officer at LinkedIn and, previously, held key human resources role at Facebook and Intuit.

“Instacart has forever changed the way people connect with the retailers they love to access the groceries and goods they need. Instacart has enormous meaning to me personally as a customer and as a family member of shoppers who rely on the service as a flexible earnings opportunity,” said Hall. “Im proud to join Instacart during a time when people leaders play a more important role than ever before in scaling a performance-driven culture while supporting the health and wellness of employees and amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups. Bardin will oversee the company’s consumer, enterprise, and advertising product teams and development. He arrives at Instacart following more than 15 years at Google, where he most recently oversaw YouTubes full suite of creator products as Vice President of Product Management. Prior to YouTube, Bardin was responsible for product strategy and business development for Google Payments, and spent nearly a decade as a leader for Google AdWords.

“As more people make online grocery delivery part of their weekly routine, the role that Instacart plays as an essential service for consumers, retailers and brands has never been more clear. Im thrilled to join the team at such a pivotal moment and help increase the value we deliver across our platform through exceptional product experiences,” said Bardin. “Instacart has an opportunity to bring to life online the inspiration, product discovery and retailer affinity that consumers experience when shopping in-store, and Im excited to get started with Apoorva and the team on that work.”

Kleveno becomes Tinuiti SVP
Performance marketing agency Tinuiti has appointed Kolin Kleveno as its first Senior Vice President of Addressable Audiences. Reporting to Executive Vice President and Head of Media Obele Brown-West, he will oversee the innovation, integration and synergy for the addressable audience division.

Prior to Tinuiti, Kleveno spent over 15 years at 360i, most recently as SVP of Addressable Solutions, where he founded the agency’s Addressable Solutions and Programmatic Buying Group. Mediaocean promotes Dorman to CPO
Stephanie Dorman has been elevated to the position of Chief People Officer at omnichannel advertising platform Mediaocean. She has been tasked with prioritising diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), spearheading employee initiatives, and has already promote Nicole Brown to Vice President of DE&I.

Dorman has worked with Mediaocean for ten years and held senior roles in client services and customer experience.

“I’m both excited and gratified by the opportunity to build on Mediaocean’s extraordinary team and culture,” said Dorman. “In the short time since I started at this position, I’ve already seen an enormously positive reception to our efforts to make our team even more vibrant, supportive, and representative than it already is.”

Brown, who has been with Mediaocean for more than 15 years, will have direct accountability for Mediaocean’s DE&I efforts and outcomes. She will also oversee the company’s learning & development team, which oversees onboarding and internal skills training – efforts that are critical to DE&I efforts, as well as the growth of all team members.

Jones takes up BSO residency at Brand Safety Institute
The Brand Safety Institute (BSI), a non-profit advertising industry initiative, has selected Louis Jones as its next Brand Safety Officer in Residence. He will become the second person to serve the six-month role, succeeding BabyCenter programmatic chief Christine Desrosiers.

Jones, a consultant advising major companies, was formerly Executive Vice President of Media & Data Practices for the 4A’s, managing the associations thought leadership and standards efforts across brand safety, ID resolution, measurement, accountability, and attribution. Prior to that, he was CEO of Maxus North America. Jones has also served in a range of senior roles at Havas and other agencies.

“Brand safety is not a one-size-fits-all problem, as each brand has its own unique identity, opportunities, and needs,” said Jones. “Thats why BSI gives brand safety professionals the expertise, best practices, and relationships they need to understand and manage the complicated challenges facing each individual brand. TPN names Water as CFO
Kayla Waters has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at TPN, a creative commerce agency. Effective 1 November, she will work alongside the leadership team, continuing to enhance operations and workflow, deliver cost-effective results, drive profitability and help the agency and its clients achieve success.

Waters has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry and has served in various roles at TPN over the last 15 years, including Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, Vice President & Corporate Controller and, most recently, Senior Vice President of Finance.

“Ive certainly had an amazing example of female leadership as Ive watched Sharon foster and grow this agency into what it is today. She is very committed to promoting women into top roles” said Waters. “I have also learned so much from Mike and will certainly leverage all of the efficiencies and processes that we built together as I step into this new role. Cunningham joins Unlimited as CTO
Integrated agency group Unlimited has recruited John Cunningham as its Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to CEO Tim Hassett, he will be responsible for evolving Unlimited’s digital offering including adding firepower to its data, technology, and transformation capabilities.

Cunningham, formerly EMEA CTO at Wunderman Thompson, has held key technology positions at companies including Possible, Razorfish, Rosetta, Pixelpark, and Yahoo! UK & Ireland. He has worked with brands such as BT, GSK, Shell, Nestle, Adidas, Bayer, PMI, BAT, Audi, Aston Martin, Microsoft, HSBC, O2 Telefonica, and McDonald’s.

Vibes appoints Rivera as CRO
Richard Rivera has been named as Chief Revenue Officer at mobile marketing firm Vibes. He is tasked with expanding and accelerating the use of the company’s engagement platform among enterprise brands, while helping these customers prepare for an increasingly mobile-centric future.

Rivera most recently served as CRO for Monetate, helping steer the company toward a sale that tripled its value. He has also held prominent revenue-generating roles at Medallia, Dialpad, Fuze, and Bladelogic.

Filiberto and Naci arrive at VidMob
VidMob, a creative analytics platform, has announced Jeff Filiberto as its Head of Marketing Transformation Practice and Susan Naci as Client Partner, Beauty and Luxury Lead. Both will report to Head of US Sales Lisa Manowitz Rowley.

Filiberto will develop and helm the company’s strategic consulting practice to help enterprise brands improve their creative operations by leveraging VidMob technology. He joins from CAA Brand Consulting, where his teams developed marketing strategies and often digitally-led 360° programs for brands including Mondelez, Electronic Arts, Bose, Pizza Hut, HBO, JP Morgan Chase, and Tissot. Prior to that, Filiberto held roles at PepsiCo and Kraft Foods.

Naci will oversee US sales and brand partnerships within beauty and luxury. She joins from Amazon, where she led advertising for the CPG and beauty sectors.

Lab’s Verj selects Duda as UX head
Sabrina Duda has been appointed Head of User Experience at Verj, Lab Group’s behavioural science special agency. She will lead the agency’s user experience offering, overseeing design, delivery, and innovation and creating a bridge between research and creative implementation of insights.

Duda has more than 20 years’ experience in UX roles, with particular expertise in user-centred product development and user research. She has previously held positions at the Very Group, the UK Ministry of Justice, and Experian.

Betteridge welcomed as director at Picnic
Picnic Media, a mobile advertising company, has hired Saint Betteridge as its Commercial Director. He joins to help Picnic clients deliver high-impact, social-style ad formats and further raise the profile of the company across the UK advertising landscape and beyond.

Betteridge was previously Commercial Director at Unruly, where he led the UK agency sales teams in maximising revenue for the marketplace’s premium publisher video and CTV supply. He has also held roles including Managing Director of Advertising at Time Out Europe, Chief Revenue Officer Europe at Circus Street, Group Advertising Director at Dennis Publishing, and Ad Director at Emap Advertising.

Ed Hill has been named as Senior Vice President EMEA at social commerce company Bazaarvoice. He will focus on executing company strategy and accelerating growth in the company’s EMEA business and client base.

Hill spent the last year and a half at Tibco as their UK and Ireland General Manager, where he worked to help transform the local brand to drive growth in customer acquisition and expansion. Prior to Tibco, Hill spent over five years at SAP running the UK sales organisation, driving innovation and business transformation, making it into one of SAP’s most established markets.

Stelmach appointed Stadiumred president
Marketing collective Stadiumred Group has welcomed Jeff Stelmach as its Group President. Reporting to Founder and CEO Claude Zdanow, he will oversee core initiatives to support the company’s global growth vision, including agency finance and planning, agency operations and performance, new business and client relationships, and talent functions.

Stelmach has spent more than 20 years growing marketing firms, including Mosaic, Opus, Geometry, and EMI. He most recently served as President of Opus.

Hajas joins from Yolt and has experience at technology startups and media agencies including MediaCom, Artefct, Geckoboard, GVC Group, and Perkbox.

Pair of business development hires made at Bango
Mobile commerce firm Bango has appointed Man Pham as its Regional Vice President of Business Development ASEAN and Keisuke Kishida as Account Director for Japan.

Pham, who joins from Fortumo, will work with Bango customers and partners to expand coverage and increase customer acquisition activities worldwide.

Kishida will lead new business development in payments, resale, and data monetisation for Bango in Japan. Before joining Bango, he introduced authentication services to banks and telcos, including NTT Docomo and Rakuten Bank.

“Online merchants working with Bango acquire, retain and monetize more users than they could outside the Bango circle,” said Bango CEO Paul Larbey. “Man Pham and Keisuke Kishida bring experience and leadership to the Bango Asia team. Mediafly opts for C-level reshuffle
John Evarts has been promoted to President at sales enablement company Mediafly, while Andrew Miehl has been named Chief Customer Officer.

Evarts, current Mediafly Chief Operating Officer, joined the company in 2010. During his stint, he has provided guidance and expertise in strategy, operations, administration, and financial management. Adding President to his COO title, Evarts will continue to work closely with Mediafly CEO and founder Carson Conant to support internal teams, while executing strategic initiatives for the company.

“As we continue to grow, it’s time for us to reassess and readjust as needed to meet the needs of our customers and our employees,” said Evarts. “Working at Mediafly for a decade, I have a good understanding of where we’ve been, where we are today and where we want to be in the future. Three hires made at Fingerpaint
Fingerpaint, a healthcare-focused marketing agency, has brought in Daniel Schroen, Danielle Bedard, and Krystal Gomola.

Schroen, who has a decade of experience in strategic business development, product management, and multichannel marketing, will serve as Head of Photo 51, a consultancy focused solely on advanced therapeutics.

Bedard has been named Director of Corporate Communications and Business Development, where she will ensure Fingerpaint offerings are cross-integrated for brand success. She previously served as Managing Director for Client Development and Organic Growth at Syneos Health.

HelloDone recruits Gough and Sherwin-Smith
Andrew Gough has been named Vice President of Sales and Sean Sherwin-Smith as General Manager for Post purchase at HelloDone, a conversational AI platform. Both have joined from Narvar.

Gough, who has over 25 years of international enterprise sales experience, was Sales Director at Narvar. Before that, he was part of the commercial teams for Clicktale and IBM.

A 30-year eCommerce and logistics veteran, Sherwin-Smith served as Operations Director for EMEA at Narvar. He has also held senior positions at InPost, Pall-Ex Group, and CEVA Logistics.

N26 makes a pair of C-level additions
Adrienne Gormley and Diana Styles have joined mobile banking platform N26 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer respectively.

Gormley joins N26 with over 20 years of experience working with technology leaders, including Google and Dropbox. She will oversee N26’s customer service, business operations, service experience and workplace divisions, working to scale and elevate internal capabilities and build a culture of customer-centricity and operational excellence across the organisation.

Rao takes charge of people at Publicis Sapient
Publicis Sapient, Publicis Groupe’s digital transformation hub, has promoted Kameshwari Rao to the role of Global Chief People Officer.

Rao enters the new role having served in multiple people success leadership roles prior to this position. Since 2001, she has led human resources practices in a variety of roles at Publicis Sapient. Her most recent role at the company was Group Vice President of People Success.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role and excited about the opportunity to continue building upon the backbone of Publicis Sapient; its people,” said Rao. “Since joining nearly two decades ago, Ive seen from multiple perspectives how we have consistently thrived through challenges. Malwarebytes promotes Mainz to COO
Barry Mainz has been elevated to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer at Malwarebytes, a cybersecurity software firm. He is responsible for leading customer-facing go-to-market strategies, operations, and activities, accelerating growth across the companys consumer and corporate businesses.

Mainz, who was previously Malwarebytes’ Chief Revenue Officer, has held numerous executive leadership roles, including CEO, president, COO, and CRO, as well as advisory and board positions at private and public companies such as MobileIron, Wind River (an Intel subsidiary), Makara (acquired by Red Hat), and Sun Microsystems.

“When I joined Malwarebytes, I was drawn to an incredible product and its untapped potential, a highly-accomplished leadership team that inspired me, and a lot of passionate employees working hard for our customers,” said Mainz. “We are growing and creating value for our customers that will lead to a very exciting future for our company. Parkes to lead new BIMA network
The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) has named Laurence Parkes as Founder and Chair of its new Digital Leaders’ Network. The BIMA Digital Leaders’ Network will meet regularly to explore key issues, find solutions and issue advice and guidance, with plans for a peer-group mentoring scheme in the near-future.

Parkes, who is currently Chief Executive Officer at Rufus Leonard, has been appointed after leading the BIMA roundtable series, which helped business leaders navigate the immediate impact of the coronavirus.

“Now more than ever it is important to help clients and agencies understand each other’s challenges, to drive productive support across the industry,” said Parkes. “The BIMA Digital Leaders’ Network aims to be the catalyst of this change. As Founder & Chair, I’m excited to work with my peers to help the digital and tech industry thrive in such uncertain times.”

Facebook names Schultz new CMO
Alex Schultz has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer at Facebook. He takes over from Antonio Lucio, who stepped down from the position last month. Schultz will continue to oversee product growth, analytics, and internalisation.

Schultz, who has been at Facebook for 13 years, started life at the social network in an Analyst capacity before rising to Manager, then Director, then Vice President, and now CMO. Prior to Facebook, he was a Marketing Manager at eBay.

“I am super proud to be Facebook’s next CMO. Lucio has left huge shoes and a great team behind and I’m really excited to get stuck in with them,” Schultz said in a Facebook post. “Gracias, Antonio for being a great friend, colleague, creative leader and voice of experience and wisdom for this company… You have strengthened our ability to tell meaningful, culturally relevant stories with our family of brands. I hope to build on this and bring my experience in segmentation, targeting, and measurement to bear as we work to reach people more meaningfully through our product.”

Breeden to head up safety at Match
Match Group has hired Tracey Breeden as its Head of Safety and Social Advocacy. In the newly created role, she will oversee Match Groups trust and safety policies and initiatives across its global portfolio of dating products – including Tinder, Hinge, OkCupid, Match, and Plenty of Fish – and will work with each brands product teams to continue developing new safety features.

Breeden comes to Match from Uber, where she led global safety initiatives across six continents, advising teams on product development, training, policies, and initiatives that addressed safety and social issues, with a special emphasis on women and marginalised communities.

She will work directly with the Match Group Advisory Council, which is involved in the study and prevention of sexual assault, sex trafficking, abuse, harassment, and similar issues.

“Ive spent my entire career fighting to create safe spaces for all people so Im excited to bring my passion for promoting safety and advocacy to Match Group and its brands,” said Breeden. “Corporations play an important role in sparking positive, social change but also have a responsibility to help ensure safe experiences for their users. I look forward to developing pathways to more equitable and inclusive solutions when it comes to safety across Match Groups many communities.”

Cheil brings in Chadwick to lead strategy
Michael Chadwick has been appointed Head of Strategy at digital marketing and advertising agency Cheil UK. He will work to develop and further enhance Cheil’s strategic offering, and oversee integration of Cheil’s online and offline business areas to help clients deliver connected, omnichannel experiences and drive better overall performance. He will also be responsible for evolving Cheil’s new performance division.

Chadwick joins from Dentsu Singapore, where he was responsible for strategy across 30 offices in 17 countries for key regional/global new business and clients. Prior to Dentsu, Chadwick has held roles at TBWA/Group, Mondelez International, and JWT.

Shin joins TextNow to lead engineering
Free texting and calling app TextNow has selected Andrew Shin as its Senior Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the app, growing the engineering team, and scaling the TextNow platform to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base, while maintaining and improving user experience and call quality.

Shin brings more than 20 years of experience building software for consumer internet and eCommerce platforms and was most recently the Chief Technology Officer at GOAT.

“I’m excited to change the way people think about wireless communications,” said Shin. “I’ve been inspired by how much people love our service and how much they rely on it. With the talented team we have in place, we can deliver even more value at a much lower cost than traditional carriers.”

Lab Group elevates GM Mason
Andy Mason has been promoted to a new role as the Lab Group, a collection of digital marketing, technology, and creative services agencies, establishes two special agency brands called Riverr and Verj.

He has assumed the dual role of Chief Operating Officer of Lab Group and Managing Director of Riverr after shifting from his position as Lab General Manager.

“Labs direction has always been driven by several core teams of pioneering and future-focussed subject-matter experts, and its fantastic to play a part in establishing two best-in-class agency brands that will further enable and stimulate these teams to flourish and to explore innovative digital solutions to the new challenges lying ahead of us all,” said Mason.

Jerig becomes IT head at Fingerpaint
Fingerpaint, a health and wellness marketing agency, has named Tony Jerig as its Head of Information Technology. In this newly created role, he will oversee Fingerpaint’s internal information structures to ensure seamless integration as the agency continues to expand its capabilities through organic growth, new offices, and acquisitions. He has also been added to the agency’s operating board.

Jerig brings over 30 years of industry knowledge and experience in the advertising space, including holding information systems and technology roles at agencies like inVentiv Health (now Syneos Health) and GSW. He joins Fingerpaint from e-Cycle, where he was Chief Information Officer for the past eight years.

Blue Array brings in Emmanouel as MD
Stephanie Emmanouel has been hired as Managing Director at SEO agency Blue Array. She will be responsible for Blue Array’s operations as of 1 October.

Emmanouel arrives at Blue Array with 20 years’ business experience. She joins from Rokt, where she held the position of Vice President, EMEA. Prior to joining Rokt, she was General Manager CCM at Somo.

MD and board chair appointed at CHS
Steve Keats will move into the role of Chair of the Board, as he hands over the Managing Director gig to Chris Southgate, at creative marketing agency CHS.

Southgate joined the agency in 2009 to lead a growing digital team and has since been instrumental in winning pitches for key client accounts including HSBC, Allianz, and Mastercard.

“Over the past 11 years, Ive had the absolute privilege to be part of the team here at CHS, working with some of the most talented, creative, incredible people Ive ever met. And I could not be more excited about our next chapter,” said Southgate.

Keats added: “I am delighted that Chris will be stepping up to Managing Director as I take a step back, although I won’t be going anywhere. I’ll still be actively involved as Chair of the Board, setting and implementing our strategy and direction, and of course, supporting Chris in his new role.”

Peak Indicators looks to Unsworth as group MD
Pipa Unsworth has been appointed as Group Marketing Director at Peak Indicators, a data science and analytics consultancy. She will steer growth strategy and head up the company’s marketing operations team.

Unsworth, who has 25 years of experience leading marketing activities for organisations including Samsung, Oracle, and Sainsbury’s, also serves on the board of the Data & Marketing Association.

“I’m delighted to be joining Peak Indicators,” commented Unsworth. “It has cutting edge technology, an enviable client list of FTSE 350 companies and employs some of brightest minds in data science. SAP adds Bendiek to Executive Board
Sabine Bendiek has been appointed to join the SAP Executive Board as Chief of People Officer and Labour Director. Starting in early 2021, she will lead the Human Resources organization and people strategy for SAP. This includes attracting the best talent in the industry, providing a growth and learning environment for employees, and ensuring a consistent leadership culture to enable inclusion, accountability and agility.

Bendiek is currently Microsoft Germany Management Board Chairwoman. At Microsoft, she oversaw an increase in cloud growth of 50 per cent in 2020. She also drove the move of the business to the cloud, which significantly contributed to Microsofts strong position in Germany. Prior to Microsoft, she held various roles at companies including Nixdorf, Siemens Nixdorf, McKinsey, Earlybird Venture Capital, Dell, and EMC. Bendiek is a member of the supervisory board at Schaeffler.

Tomlinson added to team at Three
Mobile network Three UK has hired Mike Tomlinson as its Managing Director of Business. In the newly created role, he will develop Three’s B2B presence in the UK, building on its SME offer announced in 2019 and its established private networks division.

Tomlinson has a wealth of experience in the telecoms industry, having previously held roles at EE, Virgin, and BT. Most recently, he advised tech and telecoms firms on the broader B2B market.

“I’m delighted to be joining Three and I’m excited by the opportunity to scale our growing business division,” said Tomlinson. “Businesses of all sizes need a resilient network partner and the major technology investments that the company is making make Three the perfect choice.”

Alongside Tomlinson’s arrival, John Dunican has taken on an expanded role of director of MVNO and Carrier Services for Three UK Ireland, having been Head of Wholesale at Three Ireland since January 2017.

MMA selects Griesser to direct Germany
Katja Griesser has been named as the Mobile Marketing Association’s (MMA) Germany Country Director. She follows Daniel Rieber, who initiated the chapter together with Chairman Mark Wächter in 2016.

Griesser is a marketing and media expert with 16 years of industry experience. She started her professional career with Sky Deutschland being responsible for Marketing Partnerships along with international e-commerce projects. In 2009, Griesser joined Telefónica Germany as General Manager for netzclub.net. Later, she was promoted to Global Head of Sponsored Data, becoming responsible for developing all sponsored mobile products in Europe and Latin America.

“Mobile Marketing has become increasingly dynamic and complex and it’s hard to be on top of every digital discipline,” commented Griesser. “The MMA is the platform which unites the most influential and relevant brands, marketing professionals, and tech providers globally, who exchange their insights and know-how. This helps the members significantly to make fact-based and better decisions on important marketing questions.”

Green takes up senior marketing role at Teespring
Social commerce platform Teespring has chosen Les Green as its Vice President of Marketing. He will use his expertise to continue the company’s development as a leading platform which empowers and enables creators to develop their personal brands and engage with their fans.

Green moves to Teespring from his previous roles as Nike Africa’s Marketing Director, and Global Brand Director for Nike Sportswear. His time at Nike also saw him relaunch Nike’s customisation service, Nike By You (formerly NikeiD), as Senior Marketing Director.

“The future of commerce will be social,” said Green. “We already see that content and culture have moved to being primarily driven by social media so it’s inevitable that commerce will follow suit. I am excited to move to a company unrivalled in the space – where any relevant creator can scale their influence in almost any arena and reap more of the benefits by connecting directly to their fans.”

Criteo names Glickman as CFO
Sarah Glickman has joined internet advertising company Criteo as Chief Financial Officer. She will serve as both Criteos principal financial officer and principal accounting officer, and will replace Dave Anderson, who served as interim Chief Financial Officer for four months.

Glickman brings 30 years of global finance and transformation experience to Criteo. She most recently served as Acting Chief Financial Officer for 20 months at XPO Logistics. There, she oversaw the execution of a comprehensive restructuring program, expanded global shared services, and optimised finance processes and systems. Before that, she held operational Chief Financial Officer roles at Novartis and Honeywell International.

“Its an exciting time to join Criteo. I have immense respect for everything Criteo has been able to achieve as a global leader in advertising technology,” said Glickman. “I look forward to working alongside this talented leadership team to continue to grow and transform the business.”

Qian takes charge of Kwalee’s business dev in China
Mobile game publisher Kwalee has selected Penny Qian as the Head of Business Development in its new China-based office. Her experience includes roles at AppLift, Tencent, and Applovin.

Qian, and the Beijing office, will work alongside Kwalee’s existing team in the UK and India. The focus of Kwalee China will be on business development, marketing, and third-party publishing.

“Having worked in the games industry for over three years, primarily within mobile, I’ve long been an admirer of Kwalee and their amazing growth in the hypercasual space,” said Qian. “When the opportunity arose to be a part of this success story and to help the business really grow in China, I couldn’t turn it down. I’m looking forward to using what I know and my connections to really help grow Kwalee in China, and can’t wait to see the great games that come out of this as a result.”

iRobot opts for Smith as CMO
Kiran Smith has taken up the role of Chief Marketing Officer at iRobot, the robotics company behind the famous Roomba vacuum. She will help guide iRobot through an exciting period of growth and transformation as they look to evolve the brand to be synonymous with seamless, personalised digital experiences, and develop a more personal relationship with consumers.

Smith was most recently CEO of Arnold Worldwide. Before Arnold, she held several brand marketing leadership roles at Brookstone, Stride Rite, and two of the largest supermarket chains in the US. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Accenture and Alliance Consulting Group.

West to lead development at Access
Access, an integrated marketing and digital agency, has hired Mark West as its Head of Development.

West leaves CTi Digital after seven years, where he held senior positions including Head of Drupal, Head of Support and Digital Consultant. Before this, he was a lead Drupal developer at TalkTalk and web executive at Carphone Warehouse.

“I am looking forward to this exciting new challenge and the opportunity to nurture the burgeoning development team here at Access,” said West. “Im keen to bring my experience of production practices and processes into the agency, to ensure we continue to offer agile, high quality delivery as we grow to meet ever-increasing client demands.”

Fingerpaint elevates Bartolomeo and O’Malley
Nick Bartolomeo has been promoted to Head of Media and Performance Marketing, and Bryan O’Malley lifted to Head of Technology and Performance Innovation, at Fingerpaint, a health and wellness-focused marketing agency.

The pair will co-lead the newly formed Shift Performance Center of Excellence, which will focus on driving brand performance through a proprietary mix of big data, best-in-class technologies, and highly skilled industry experts. Bartolomeo and O’Malley will be responsible for promoting and expanding the capabilities of Shift Performance, as well as continuing to cultivate the team and its expertise.

“I am looking forward to working alongside Bryan to drive the vision for Fingerpaint’s Shift Performance Center of Excellence and build upon the proven success we’ve demonstrated for nearly five years,” said Bartolomeo.

Mitra arrives to lead client servicing at Blink
Full-service digital agency Blink Digital has named Ratnapriya Mitra as its Vice President of Client Services. She will oversee fulfilment of client goals and over success of the client portfolio at the agency.

Mitra is a practiced marketing professional with over 15 years of experience at companies such as the McCann Worldwide group, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson, and others.

Digital, joins as a Senior Creative. Hannah Kent joins as a Junior Creative, and Kirsty Haville has joined as a Photographic Stylist, previously Creative Coup.

Nextdoor turns to Andersen to lead on revenue
Heidi Andersen has been appointed Head of Revenue at Nextdoor, the private social network for local communities. She will be tasked with overseeing the global sales team and revenue streams.

Andersen joins Nextdoor from LinkedIn where, as Vice President of Global Sales, she built the global Online Sales Organisation under LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions division in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to LinkedIn, she worked as part of Google’s AdWords Sales group and helped build its Display Ads Business.

“I’m honoured to be joining the Nextdoor team and be a part of growing its online community with neighbourhoods across the world. As recent months have demonstrated, communities will come together and rally around one another in times of need,” said Andersen. “Nextdoor has a unique opportunity to connect businesses directly with these communities at a hyperlocal level. Llerena steps into senior director role at FreeWheel
Comcast-owned FreeWheel has hired Xavier Llerena as its Senior Director of DSP Partnerships. In this role, he will manage buyside relationships, set the vision for DSP strategy, and oversee FreeWheel’s DSP partnerships team across Europe.

He comes to FreeWheel from InMobi, where he was most recently Head of Programmatic and the Strategy & Operations Lead for Europe. Prior to InMobi, Llerena worked in the sales team for App Annie, which saw him build and manage the EMEAR Inside Sales Team.

“I am excited to join FreeWheel during these times of change which are only accelerating the shift to CTV and addressable TV advertising. FreeWheel has a strong footprint of European publishers and, by leveraging my previous experience with the local buyside, I hope to further strengthen our position in Europe,” Llerena said.

“I am looking forward to contributing to FreeWheel’s mission to create the leading TV marketplace bringing together buyers and sellers of premium video advertising.”

Iponweb recruits Vohra to lead on partnerships
Parag Vohra has been named as Vice President of Principal Partnerships at advertising firm Iponweb. Based in New York, he will develop strategies to acquire, grow and retain IPONWEB’s brand, agency and publisher clients.

Vohra was previously Vice President of the Americas at Sojern.  In this role, he helped the company grow to a leading vertical programmatic platform focused on the travel sector.  He has also held commercial roles at TripAdvisor, Yahoo!, and Marriott.

“I have watched Iponweb continually evolve and bring innovative tools to the table as well as demonstrate extensive expertise in custom engineering solutions,” said Vohra. “These unique technical capabilities are key to standing out in the crowded ad tech space; joining the team to develop and maximize commercial opportunities that enable key advertising players to realize their programmatic ambitions is an ideal prospect for me.”

Chung takes up lead revenue role at Entravision
Media firm Entravision has announced the appointment of Stephen Chung as Chief Revenue Officer for its International Digital business unit, which houses the Smadex mobile-DSP. Reporting to the President of Entravision’s International Digital, Luis Barrague, he will oversee growth of global programmatic and performance business sales, team development and service quality.

Chung joins Entravision after 10 years in leadership roles in the Asian-Pacific market, where he established the company builder Rocket Internet in Hong Kong and served as Managing Director for the regional office of the German app marketing company Applift in Seoul, South Korea.

“Im thrilled to join Entravision and help extend the companys global market position,” said Chung. “I firmly believe in Entravision’s service offering and its ability to provide results thanks to its focus on media buying backed by data science and machine learning technology.”

Digital Envoy has a new President in Stoller
Jerrod Stoller has become the President of IP intelligence company Digital Envoy. He replaces current President and CEO Bill Calpin, who has stepped back from his role and been named Chairman of the Board. Meanwhile, Co-founder and Executive Vice President Rob Friedman has added the Vice-Chairman title to his name.

Stoller will assume day-to-day leadership of Digital Envoy, overseeing operations for all three business units: Digital Element, Digital Resolve and Gathr Lab.

Before joining Digital Envoy, Stoller was CEO of eVestment where he had directed the sales, marketing, client success and business development activities of the organisation globally for almost 10 years. He took on the CEO role 18 months ago, while retaining his other duties. Before joining eVestment, Stoller was the Regional Manager of RSA, the Security Division of EMC, where he directed company performance into triple-digit growth. Prior to RSA, he held leadership roles with Datalex Transportation Enterprise Software, Siemens Business Services, TransQuest Business Consulting and NCR.

“I am thrilled to assume this new role and incredibly excited about what we can accomplish together for the future,” said Stoller. “There is tremendous opportunity ahead for Digital Envoy. I look forward to continuing to support our clients at the highest levels as well as innovating new market and product strategies within our industry niches to solve real-world problems.”

Seavers takes up top seat at AppOnboard
AppOnboard, a no-code game design and development platform, has brought in Mike Seavers as its new Chief Executive Officer. CEO and co-founder Jonathan Zweig recruited Seavers for the companys global expansion and will work alongside him as President of AppOnboard moving forward. In his new role, Seavers will oversee day-to-day operations and set the product vision for AppOnboard.

Seavers joins AppOnboard after a long, successful career at Riot Games, most recently as Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure, Seavers helped the company scale from its early success with the popular game League of Legends to become a multi-game, global game developer and publisher and led 1000-plus employees globally as head of the technology and production departments.

“I know firsthand how difficult it is to create video games. One of the main problems is that theres a lack of simple tools for designers, artists, and creatives to be fully empowered,” said Seavers. 2AppOnboard can make game development accessible to everyone with an idea and fulfill the promise where imagination is all you need to create a video game.”

Genesys appoints Maco its Global Sales EVP
Marylou Maco has been hired as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Field Operations at cloud customer experience company Genesys. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer Tony Bates, she will oversee the company’s global commercial activities, field sales and channel operations.

Previously, Maco held several executive sales leadership positions at software companies including Anaplan, CognitiveScale, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Oracle and Cisco Systems, Inc. While serving as Senior Vice President of North American HCM Enterprise Sales at Oracle, she helped lead the pivot from a legacy on premises software organisation into a fully cloud business.

“The contact center industry is in the midst of a major transition as more companies accelerate the adoption of cloud technologies so they can innovate rapidly and deliver truly differentiated customer experiences,” said Maco. “Genesys has a long and successful history, and I am thrilled to join the company at this time when we are uniquely positioned to help any organisation anywhere, regardless of size or segment, transition to the cloud. I look forward to helping build the company’s next phase of growth.”

Ryan hired to lead sales efforts
Cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes has handed the role of International VP of Sales to Jordan Ryan. In this role, he will be updating go to market strategy and amplifying engagement with the channel to accelerate growth in EMEA and APAC.

Ryan joins the company with over 11 years’ experience in the IT security industry. He previously worked with other vendors including AlienVault, which was acquired by AT&T in 2018, and SolarWinds.

“I’ve been very fortunate to experience different growth-stage organisations and learn from each of them during my career. I look forward to applying these insights to help Malwarebytes continue their strong growth trajectory while continuing my passion for connecting with our customers,” said Ryan. “The market opportunity is impressive. Fingerpaint promotes McKenna to lead on operations
Jenny McKenna has been promoted to Head of Operations at health and wellness marketing agency Fingerpaint. As part of the elevation, she has also been appointed to the agency’s operating board.

McKenna, who has been with the company since 2010, previously oversaw operations in the company’s Saratoga Springs office.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the incredible growth Fingerpaint has experienced over the past 10 years,” McKenna said. “I am looking forward to seeing that the core values Fingerpaint was founded on continue to be woven into the fabric of our future.”

Duggin brought in to consult at Nomensa
Strategic UX design agency Nomensa has appointed Alistair Duggin as its Principal Accessibility Consultant. He will lead and oversee its accessibility and research projects with private, public and third sector organisations including MET Office, National Trust and more.

Duggin brings with him over two decades’ experience within the digital sphere, having worked in in-house roles at the BBC, where he led on the 2012 Olympics website accessibility project and revolutionised the BBC weather app. He also held senior positions at the Money Advice Service, the Treasury and Government Digital Service (GDS), where he played a leading role in the creation of government accessibility guidance, training and resources; and introduced the Government Digital Service Empathy Lab.

“I’ve worked with Nomensa in the past from a client perspective and I’m excited to now be working alongside the whole team, especially Alastair Campbell, who is one of the most respected accessibility experts in the world. I’ve spent time over the last year reflecting and understanding what I enjoy about my work and I realised that I’m passionate about helping teams to make things accessible, taking a hands-on approach and Nomensa is the perfect place to do that,” said Duggin.
